rhyme: (eh what?)
Well, I ended up going to the doctor, and he made a guess and told me that it would be better to go to my dermatologist, who pretty much said that yeah, it probably was. It turns out that there's a very good chance that it's cellulitis. I had a culture (so we can figure out if it it's strep, steph, or fungus) and a blood test (to make sure it hasn't gotten into my blood stream) taken, but I'm on antibiotics for the meantime. I think this is also the first time I've ever had a prescription shampoo. (In case it's a fungus instead.)

The neck pain is because the fluid seeped into my lymph nodes. Or a lymph node, at least. This means that it's been going on for a while, but I looked up what it looks like online, and you try seeing that stuff under my hair. (I have no idea what the rash, if there is a rash, looks like.) Not sure if it has anything to do with the headache I've been having on and off.

Apparently, most of the reason I felt crappy yesterday was that kid brother did give me the 24 hour bug. (When we checked my temprature this morning, I was running a mild fever.) But it was just as well, as I probably wouldn't have mentioned the fluid thing for a few more days if I didn't come....okay, the neck pains were a big indicator. Anyway, I still feel rather crappy from that. :(

Anway, Mom freaked out because when she looked it up online in between the physician's appointment and the dermatologist appointment, the Mayo Clinic lookup thing said it could be "life threatening." But the dermatologist said that was really rare, and Mom get's a little nervous whenever I go to the dermatologist anyway.

The thing about blood tests is that as of late, I like to watch when to they take them. This is mainly because the last time I had one, I had someone with me, so I had to watch for the principle of the matter.

This time, the vial was smaller, but it was taking reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally slow. Luckily, they didn't fill the whole thing, because I don't think I would have been happy waiting the time it would have taken to fill. Which woudh have been significant.
