Today I had jabong for the first time in years- there's a tree that grows it in my aunt's yard, but she didn't know I liked it. The fruit are huge, and kind of citrusy, but the individual um... I'm not sure how to describe it. Picture an orange. You know how within the sections, there are little um.. kind kind of cylindrical juice packets? A jabong is like that, but you can pick apart the individual pieces.


When I was googling to figure out how to spell "jabong," I discovered that it's more commonly known as a pomelo. Which, if you refer to Wikipedia's page on the subject, makes Momokan's juice-making method that much more impressive.

So when I looked up pomelo and found the wikipedia page, my first thought was "Oh, so THAT is what the Pokémon Sitrus fruit is modeled after."

Oh, so that's what a Sitrus is. I WAS LIKE, WHOA, HOW IS THAT CITRUS? (Pomelos or whatever you call them are delicious goodness. Although they are also stupidly difficult to get into.)
