So today I had the mildly uncomfortable experience of having to tell a librarian that I had gotten blood on page 26 of "Scientific American."

He said it was okay. I was just worried that I'd have to pay for it. (I didn't see the cover price.)

Scientific American prides itself on obsfuscating scientific concepts with as much dry, sterile, jargon as possible in an effort to make it sound fancy. I have a feeling that obscuring a paragraph with a few drops of blood isn't going to increase the reading difficulty by all that much. ~_^
