Guess what we went to see today. (I learned how to recognize his cartouche.)
We had dinner at Medieval Times, for kid brother's sake. How do you know your knight is going to win the tourney? Sit in the same section as a bus load of elementary school kids. :D
Tonight's rolled cookies night. How to tell if you are out of orange extract? If, when you are trying to unscrew the bottle to check, you drop it and there is no liquid among the shards on the floor, then there is none left. (My wrist just gave out on me. x___X)
We're trying turbinado sugar, which is dreadfully tasty. I've never baked with it before.

Date: 2009-03-27 07:56 am (UTC)It's the second time I've been and I still haven't gotten a carnation. I continue to feel let down. (We don't really have an excuse to go at third time, I don't think, even if the horses are pretty.)
