I'm so afraid that no one will adopt them. (I'm thankful that a few have already found homes!) Such pretty cats they are!
(I LIKE TO MAKE UNNECESSARY CONTINGENCY PLANS, SO IF WORSE COMES TO WORSE AND YOU HAVE A CEREBRAL ANEURYSM OR ARE IN A CAR ACCIDENT OR HAVE SOME SORT OF WEIRD PARASITE SWIM UP YOUR NOSE AND EAT YOUR BRAIN-I HAVE HEARD THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TO KIDS IN TEXAS, REMEMBER?- I WILL DEFINITELY BE HAPPY TO TAKE IN YOUR KITTIES. SERIOUSLY. I'VE ALREADY LOOKED UP HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST TO QUARANTINE THEM AND HAVE CONCLUDED THAT IT WOULD BE BETTER TO BEG MY AUNT TO TAKE THEM IN THEN HAVE THEM SIT IN QUARANTINE FOR THREE MONTHS. EXCEPT SHE WOULD PROBABLY LOVE THEM TO MUCH AND NOT LET ME HAVE THEM AND THAT WOULD MAKE ME SAD. ;_____;)
I think the housemates here would be willing to keep Yume. Rofl is really Crystal's though. Had you heard about the new one coming in January? Her name is Miss Kitty (We're going to give her the nickname Miss Kitty Pryde), and she's the sweetest cat ever. If they couldn't deal with them, then I think they'd be happy with your aunt.
Don't worry, though, I heard that the victims were mostly boys. :|b
I know that Rofl is Crystal's. I was talking about Yume and New!kitty whose name I hadn't known until two minutes ago. Rofl wouldn't be able to pass the quarantine requirements to get into our state because he is stupid and has worms. I WOULD LOVE YUME MORE THAN ALL OF THEM PUT TOGETHER AND YOU KNOW IT. :(((((((((((((((
I still have to mail the little idiots their treats, since there's no one here that eats feline greenies.
But the actual plan was to get her a vaccine and a microchip, then send her to live with my aunt for about 6 months, so she could be qualified for a more prompt admission....unless she already has a rabies vaccine, which would change the estimates. (Hawaii doesn't have rabies and would like to keep things that way. My (other) aunt brought her cats from the mainland, and had to put them through the whole wait, and she said that it was really heartbreaking. I'd link an article that quotes her on it, but I saw it years ago and can't find the one I'm thinking of.)
She's not up on her shots right now, unfortunately. I'm wanting to, in the near future, get them both shots and flea meds so the new kitty doesn't have to worry.
