Oct. 12th, 2005 06:16 amI really like my speaking class's teacher. Today, to the amusement of all, she decided to insert the names of various people in the class in one of our worksheets.
The comprehensive class is fun too, but I can't read some of the kanji which is troublesome. Also, the way some of the other students speak is a little grating. Thankfully, most of the class is okay. And it's not like any of them give me headaches like that girl from that one concert that I got dragged to last year. (It was a Christian concert, which I was not told ahead of time. ^^;; They were selling "Darwin Lies!" t-shirts and my reaction was something like "........" The girl who gave me a headache was up first, which made the rest of the evening much less pleasant, for it was a persistant headache. Though the band we came to see, Reliant K, was really good. I bought their cd planning to give it to one of my teachers from highschool- it seemed like it would be funny at the time.
Incidentally, I kind of drifted away from the girl who went to it with me shortly afterwards. I don't think she had realized that I was kind of um... not Christian. ^^;;)
