So today we were talking about what and who we would bring with us to a deserted island. (It was a prelude to an essay about sundials.)

I ended up brainstorming with one of the Italian girls. We decided that the best items would be a knife and a tarp. People, was super easy.

She said "McGyver" and I was all HECK YEAH! :D

Please note the fact that I've never seen an episode of Mcgyver in my life. I have no idea why he's coming up so often in conversations.

I always associate McGyver with doing things like disarming a bomb using only a coat hanger and chewing gum while on a speeding train. ^^;;

Still haven't figured out how he came up twice in a week, but I'm sure that it would have taken him much less time to figure out how to get out of the showers than it took me.

Ah, I only got to see the first four episodes but I remember really liking it. Bell was the cat, right? And I think Kaoru was the guy who seemed like he was actually capable, wasn't he? I kind of wish I could see more, but it's currently not an option.

(Ah, I sometimes surf Sam's friends page when I'm bored too. Mine's usually eaten by imformative but spammy communities. If you need a point of reference, I'm her mildly eccentric ex-roommate.)

Bell is the big guy with Brock (from Pokémon) eyes-like. ^^

Indeed, Kaoru is the most capable of all of them. Able to make useful tools, excellent hunter, able to put some mad stunts... And very introvered (thus until around episode 20-24, can't remember which one, where Luna succeeds in break the glass. :O) And you can guess that after this, Luna takes a special place in Kaoru's heart ^^)

He (Koaru) is my fave character in this anime, along with Howard, the bratty daddy's boy. Both of them are the characters who evolves the most mentally in the series, and both of them have excellent personnalities :O).
