So the x-rays came back and it turns out that I have some sort of fracture.

Dad lent me a cane- why does he have a cane?- but anyway, he lent me a cane so I can keep my weight off of it while I hobble around the house. (I try to minimalize hobbling.) It turns out that using a cane isn't particularly intuitive. Time to check the internet. :[
