Well, it's actually "Daruma ga koronda," except with a pun, but close enough, right?
These are the answers for the 5 things meme, which I got from

1. japanese - I've studied Japanese for um... 9 years, I think? I'm not counting the last couple of years because I haven't been taking classes, but it's been at least that long since I've started and even longer still if you count my very first lessons. (Which I don't. I'm actually a Japanese school drop out.)
2. anime icons - I have a lot of trouble telling people apart; it's just the way I'm wired. This is why I don't have any actors I like or anything in my icons. It's also why I'm a horrible person to attend movies with.
I'd have more icons of inanimate objects or cats, but most of the photos I take don't crop into the 100x100 space very well. There's also my cat icons, which basically means that I'm sitting there going 8D at my icon for a while. If Gen and I start using that one icon of Yume we both have, even longer still. (The icon with Yume wearing the little santa hat and cape. It's awesome that she sat still long enough for me to take the picture.)
3. tenipuri days - Even though I had stopped following the anime, I used a tenipuri alarm clock as late as about a year and a half ago. It was official merchandise, and I got it for about 3,000 yen below what it retailed for. (I know this because I compared the price in the department store and the price at the Jump store. Interestingly, this was in the same building- the jump store was in the food court.)
Speaking of which, I also own a Seigaku jersey- just the polo, though. I'm not sure why I bought it, because I've never cosplayed with it. (It would have made more sense to buy Hyoutei and go with Shishido, but they were sold out of the Hyoutei one when I finally decided to get it.)
I actually wear the Seigaku shirt like a regular shirt. It's very comfortable and well made- also, most people don't recognize it, so I wear it at the country club. (The dress code requires it. Most of my other collared shirts are long sleeved, so it's kind of hot.)
4. very long hair! - I've had hair down past my waist twice. Or at least twice, I'm not sure. My hair behaves better when it's long, so having short hair is kind of difficult for me.
Right now, it's right about shoulder length. People tell me Oh, your hair is long! and I kind of want to laugh.
5. voiceposts - I usually use them when I think of something when I'm out.
The sound quality is so awful. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. (I should at least transcribe them so I don't have to listen them anymore. Incidentally, it turned out to be the original station broadcasting in Japanese for the benefit of any tourists. One of the dj's called his wife and had her translate. XD)
