rhymeDad's decided that we're going to roast a turkey sometime in the next few days. Not for Thanksgiving- we never roast a turkey for thanksgiving- but just on the principle that turkeys are really cheap at this time of year.
(We eat at our aunt's house. I missed it because of work, but lunch was free and we got off at 3. "Lunch" happened to include chocolate haupia pie, which is, of course, the best flavor. Also, I can get booze on my employee discount. It's kind of awesome. Now I have to think of something cool to do with that tequila rose.)
I realized that I didn't read all the way through Lee Anne's blog, and shit. Some sort of bacon that I just googled and turns out to be bacon baked with brown sugar? Bacon chocolate peanut butter cookies? I'm a firm believer in having my bacon cooked in the micro, but some of that I can really get behind. Even if I don't like peanut butter. >_______>;;
I dearly wish I knew what else was in those gift boxes.
