There was a crepe stand at the farmer's market today. (At the market place where I work, there's a small farmers market held for a few mornings each week.)
I didn't get a good look at it, but it looked like the crepe was bubbling. My initial reaction was "you're doing it wrong."
I also got to communicate "there's another set of pens that are on sale and pens that cheap are pretty much interchangable" to tourists, which is fairly embarassing when you don't know the proper keigo. (Then they ended up buying both bags of pens, which was just kind of weird.
Edit: Also, prescription drug companies are no longer allowed to give out free swag, such as pens, which makes me sad, because I liked their free pens. ;___;

Date: 2008-07-14 04:02 am (UTC)Coming from a family made entirely of health care professionals, I can safely say we aren't going to have ANYTHING to write with after a while. I'm almost certain every writing utensil in my house was either a pencil bought for school or a free pen with the name of some embarassing drug on it.

stupidly girlypens as a hobby, so it effects me less, but I'm going to miss the occasional free stuff that we managed to pick up one way or another.(no subject)
