rhyme: (summer days)
[personal profile] rhyme
Despite feeling incredibly crappy- I ended up falling asleep soon after work last night (and work got out at 5) I ended up being dragged out with Mom and my kid brother.

It was worth it, in the end, as I spent most of the time in the car, and we stopped at Toys and Joys. In the used section, I found a copy of Ouendan for half of the price of a new one*, and while rummaging through their used Japanese games, I found...something by Atlus that looked a lot like the art style of DDS. I pulled it out, but put it back when I found Digital Devil Saga in the next row of games. ♥

I paid $15 for a copy of it, even if it was in Japanese. \o/

And then when I went further into the store to retrieve my brother, I saw that they had a copy of both one and two in English, and ended up buying a redundant copy. ($50 and $45. I'm a collector whore. .___.)

*Although I don't think that there's a way to erase old games, I 1) paid $25 instead of about $60 and 2) have no rhythm anyway, so having things pre-cleared is a good thing. Only thing that would spite is my kid brothers. 8D)

[edit] The good news is that I can now listen to the dialogue in both languages, the bad news is that I've lost my memory card. There goes 24+ hours of gameplay. DX

I don't know if it works the same, but I just bought a used copy of EBA and if you hold L + R + A + B + X + Y at the Nintendo/iNis screen, it gives you the option to delete the old save data... (I'm so bad at it DX)

Oooh, I'll keep that in mind.

(On the other hand, I can't even beat the first stage on "normal," so we'll see.)
