The problem is, I usually want to drive one somewhere other than an ice rink...

I'm not sure if that's possible, but then again, I have no fucking clue what the underside of a Zamboni looks like.

(I think the idea of driving one through something and running over stuff would be kind of nifty, and by "stuff," I mean mailboxes and perhaps small children. I'd say SUV's, but I have a feeling the car would win, because I think Zambonis are kind of low to the ground.)

I can not fill out this poll because I have driven a Zamboni.

About as difficult as a lawn mower?

Dad specifically chose grass that wouldn't have to be mowed, so I've never had to mow a lawn in my life. (I think we own a lawn mower, but it's one of those little push ones that don't have a motor and I don't recall ever seeing anyone use it.)

So does that mean it kind of goes and you have to force it to do stuff? Because the last time I did something like that, I banked a golf cart, but that was on a hill, so you might call it an unusual situation, or something.

Like... It doesn't have a very good turning radius? But they've probably improved significantly since I rode on one.

But they probably don't replace them that often, I guess. (And turning radius or no, I probably shouldn't be trusted with them.)

How did you get to drive one? (It sounds like it was something that happened once?)

Back when we lived in Michigan I played in a kiddy hockey league. And I was an adorable little six year old girl playing with a bunch of boys and I asked the Zamboni operator if I could ride on it so he let me ride with him.
