(no subject)

So, apparently kid brother had forgotten that he needed another book for his summer reading, and Mom was making dismayed noises about having to pay extra shipping.

I glance over his shoulder. "Wow, you get to read Botchan?"

It was the wrong line.

He points to the right line.

I get up, walk to my room, and find the correct book in under a minute.

(This is much more impressive if you have some idea of the current state of my room.)
