Nov. 14th, 2006 09:52 pmCurrently watching "Commanding Heights" in class.
It includes footage from a political debate, several speeches, interviews with random people, an interview with President Clinton, one with Newt Gingrich; it's made of a lot of random things, really. It's about world trade, so it requires a lot of very diverse sources.
The conclusion thus far: Bush Sr. is much more eloquent than son. Most other people in the video are also more eloquent than son. This is including random people they seem to be pulling off of the street. And Vincente Fox. And they had given the Jr clip the great big dramatic voice over during the intro.
Also, they really like to use dramatic lighting and camera angles in their interviews.
