rhyme: (copy and paste)
Went out for Udon last night. The place we went had excellent noodles.

Mom got the kid a side of tempura; I ordered udon with tempura. Usually, in times like these, I can manage to steal the kid's eggplant. It's not a food that I'm particularly fond of, but tempura is a special case and Jimbo has very good tempura.

The kid asked mom what the eggplant was. (When eggplant is fried, it can be prepared in different ways. The place that we usually went to used to serve it as a slice of eggplant, but in this case, it was a fourth of an egplant, slit on the cut side. This leaves the inside really soft and warm, it absorbs a lot of a sauce, which makes it really great in tempura.) Mom told him that it was a fish.

She made a reference to the fish he had last night again today. I don't know if we'll ever get around to telling the kid otherwise.

I was going to say something about seeing grammar dictionaries at the university and being horribly tempted, but I already know that I'll give into temptation when book buyback comes around. Instead, I will post a link to a place that has SNL Celebrity Jeopardy sketches because I like Celebrity Jeopardy sketches.
