When I'm bored, I like to look at the lastest posts feature. It always gives me an ego boost. No warm fuzzies, but one can't have everything.


LiveJournal, where are my statistics? Some of us are curious about the economic impacts of the permanent account sale. (namely, the future income lost due to the fact that no future payments will be made versus income gained by getting the money sooner, atracting people who wouldn't otherwise have bought paid time, and people who wouldn't have kept paid accounts for the full 4-7 years.) Inquiring minds want to know.

Mom's helping one of her friends prepare for a food booth at the Honolulu Matsuri. I helped look up a few words.

Mom: "Hey, did you write this kanji?"
Me: "Huh?"
Mom: "This one for booth, up at the top."
Me: *looks* "Oh. Yeah."
Mom: "Oh, it's really nice. Really nice. *pause* Just this one."

My hand writing is horrific.
