To say that they were an unlikely pair would be an understatement. She, riding a bicycle, was pondering the nature and purpose of the universe. He, riding behind her, eyes closed, curled around her waste, was obviously half asleep.
"Sometimes I think that it would be interesting if there were inexplicable creatures in tv shows and stuff. For instance, if Kimura-san was, for some reason, a unicorn. Never commented on, just worked around. He'd probably have to hold a pen in his mouth. Furthermore, unicorns wearing school neckties are funny. Don't you think that would be brilliant?"
"I don't know, what do you think?
"I think that I would like some toast."
The dragon inclined its head, as if in thought. "Yes, it is a good time for tea."
