rhymeMy email is in disarray, I can't remember the last time I've even pretended to look at my friends page, and I still haven't made arrangements to watch the Red and White which is on my Aunt's DVR.
The past week and a half or so can be best described by it's highlights:
1) I have a lovely time setting things on fire. I should also not be allowed to choose fireworks anymore, as 4 packs of ground bloom flowers really are overkill
2) I managed to find the second volume of Satorare and Oofuri 7 and 9 at Book Off today. Satorare looks like it's going to be really good- I wish the first volume was there. (The first story was about the character I was looking to find more about- that small kid who's a satorare. It was cute, but kind of sad, but not really sad at all.)
3) We lost a big football game, but I fell asleep during the second quarter, so it was all good. Unfortunately, the game was scheduled at the same time as the kouhaku, so I missed a good deal of that. (But my aunt taped it, so \o/)
4) Revolving sushi for the first time. I don't like fish, but they had small bowls of karaage chicken, which was really good, and they had what kind of tasted like warabi mochi. It was a Monday night, and it would have been better if it were more crowded, but we had fun.
5) Saw Burt Bacharach in concert. That probably speaks volumes about my taste in music, but it was really worth seeing. His music really is suited to medleys.
6) Midori with Orange juice tasted really nice, but I couldn't help but feel that I was wasting the liquor.
