(no subject)

I still hate vista, even if it's kind of pretty. It took me all evening to figure out how to get my computer online- although I did manage to make dinner, paint my nails, paint my toenails, watch Ace of Cakes, and wash the dishes...and there were a lot of dishes- in the meantime.

(I've just hit the "oh screw it, I'm turning off the UAC stage. I'm currently unsure whether or not it was resetting the power settings, multiple restarts, or just goddamn force of will. But you think that Vista would be able to tell that the reason I can't connect to the network is that the wireless connection is disabled, so would it please let me fucking re-enable the thing. Also, why is it randomly disabling the wireless in the first place?)
