This has been a pretty good week. The baseball game of the day I bought tickets to ended up being cancelled due to rain. Instead, I ended up going on a spontaneous trip to Osaka.

The planning of the trip went something like this:

*Helpful park employee informs us that the game had been cancelled*

Her: Since we're out, we should go and do something.
Me: We could go to Osaka.
Her: Okay.

*We return to the train station and get on the train to Osaka.*

We ended up hitting Mandarake, having zarusoba, missing the Jump store by a matter of minutes, taking purikura in which both of us looked good, and getting back in time to see that, yes, the other train line had stopped running ten minutes ago. (We were able to get most of the way home and the buses had stopped running, so any way you look at it, she would have had to walk. I had about half an hour walk; the other dorm was farther away.)

Tonight I went to karaoke with some other friends, which was somewhat interesting. I ended up singing several songs I hadn't chose myself, which was fun. It was definitely a more duet orientated night than usual, and there were only 6 of us, which was also nice.

For some bizarre reason, they had "Mamma Mia" as sung by the A*Teens and now it's stuck in my head. It's not a bad thing, but I found it a bit strange.

I think it would be fun if we threw a "let's choose songs that no one knows and fake it" karaoke night next semester. Do they have karaoke boxes in Norman? I've never looked.

I have a 2000 yen gift credit for Amazon Japan and until the end of the month to figure out what to do with it. I should check my gmail account more often. >____<

I was going to do the obvious and buy a Janne Da Arc album, but all of the really interesting ones are labelled CCCD and I have a sneaking suspicion that it stands for "Copy Controlled CD," or in other words, stupid cd that won't play on my computer and I don't like listening to music on the PS2. Oh snap.

Whatever shall I do with it? *is leaning towards new headphones but sorting through the list is a nitemare.*
