On Saturday, I went out with my aunt, because a dress shop in Chinatown was having a closeout sale. We had planned to go a week before, but that wasn't possible. By the time we got there, there were only two racks of dresses for adults, while the childrens selection (fully of frilly dresses, mostly white) was still plentiful. I managed to find one dress that worked really well for me.

There was also a prom dress, light blue, with a long full skirt, that fit me perfectly. It really was a pretty dress and it was only $10. I had thought about scavenging the dress for it's material, but when I tried it on, I couldn't bring myself too. I wish that I could have had a prom dress, but we were out of town that week. I kind of regret it, but only for the dress. Only the dress.

Afterwards, we decided to go see a movie because of the heat. In the papers, there was a film called "You I Love." All I could tell was that it was subtitled. Even at the theater there was no poster, no summary. Luckily, I knew the girl at the ticket counter, who told me it was about this guy who starts going out with this girl and then he falls in love with this other guy. In short, a romantic comedy. Also, it was in Russian. I had never seen a Russian movie before and the alternative was "the sisterhood of the travelling pants."

It seems that Russian is a very pretty language to listen to and that the movie was so bad it was funny. It was sort of a cross between Gravitation, the Mango sketch from SNL, and something I can't remember. (That might make it sound like it was actually decent, but really, it wasn't. I could hear the guy sitting next to me snoring.) It wasn't so bad that it was unwatchable, but the green apple printed sheets were somewhat creepy.

But apparently the people who rate movies at imdb liked it, cliched as it was. How odd.

On Sunday, Daddy took my brother to the country club to play a couple of holes. I decided to go along as well and found the experience quite educational. I learned that the main reason Daddy joined was for the golf. I also learned that golf courses are not flat. They look something like this, except with slightly higher hills. -> ~~~~~~~
