I had a sudden and intense craving for pastries today, and on my way home, I stopped by the supermarket, as the local bakery was already closed.

And then I discovered that doughnuts are on sale this week, which meant the case was EMPTY save for a few sad plain doughnuts were lingering in the back. When all I wanted was an apple fritter.

So in order to wreck any petitions of eating healthily tonight, I had New York-style pizza and a Pink Russian.

Did you know that you can make them with soy milk? I used plain soymilk, and it tasted about the same. That is very convenient, seeing that the milk in the fridge expired three days ago.

I really want a takoyaki pan. I hate octopus, so I just want it to make pancakes. Maybe with banana or strawberry inside. Chocolate might work too. .____.

Well, there's also Passive-Aggressive cake, which involves baking a cake because you are Very Upset with someone, and then hiding it.

George Foreman grills are a godsend. Nothing wrong with that at all.

On the other hand, the soda thing is freakishly easy. Take a twelve ounce can of soda and a box of cake mix. Mix them together. Bake according to directions on box. And somehow, that makes cake. (It won't rise as much as it usually does, but you can really taste the cola.)

I used coke + chocolate the time I tried it, but I think I'm using root beer this time around.
