I love Chinese, really, but as of late, there are large swaths of it that I just don't understand.

I'm still doing decently, but I look at the homework and go "I have no clue what's going on here."

It's worksheets, mostly. My problem is mostly that I haven't memorized all of the characters yet and the glossaries aren't very helpful if you don't know the reading.

It would really help if you happened to know of a reliable online dictionary, as I haven't bought a print one. I know how to count strokes and use radicals, but all I have are are Japanese dictionaries, which don't do me much good in this situation. .___.;;

it looks like it'll help, if you go mostly by radicals & strokes.
the key is to keep writing the kanji..
10x, 20x... whenever you have time.
