My head hasn't felt this light in ages

I ended up not getting the highlights, but there's a hilarious story about Mom and blond highlights behind that. Instead I had practically my entire face waxed, which is pretty funny in and of itself. I also ended up only saying I wanted 7 inches off.

All in all, I spent over an hour and a half in the chair. How much hair did I really take off?

Put it this way, when I looked down, the pile on the floor was larger than Rofl. That was just the pile on one side of the chair. I suppose the other side was similarly large.

And if you don't know how large a Roflcopter is, he is slightly larger than a Sketchers shoebox.

Dad on the Economist: "It's a little sarcastic." (Up until this point, I had not been able to put my finger on exactly what I liked about The Economist's editorial voice, and now I can.)

Dad on my new haircut: "You look like a character from a manga." (Mom immediately corrected him on the pronunciation. Mom was right, by the way.)

I also had my first cosmopolitan. It was a nice way to make vodka more drinkable, but it was definitely more pleasant before I started eating. (The sweetness of the fruit I had with my salad threw off the taste of the drink.)
