Haha, I have had #1 happen to me on several occasions. I would then proceed to knock on the door like mad, because I know the person on the other side would not have had time to run away very far. I am a lazy bum, in addition to the fact that I (more often than not) tend to carry a large purse/bag most of the time, and digging for keys is not fun.
