rhymeI've been having severe cravings for Mos Burger recently. (Which is rather odd, because I absolutely hated them the first time I tried it, years ago. It was because of the mess. They didn't catch on back home.)P I went to eat at the Kawaramachi-shijo store on Sunday while waiting for the show to start.
The last time I ate there, I was seated on the first floor. This time, I was waved up to the second. While waiting for my food to come, there was nothing to do but stare out the window. Due to the layout of the building, the street isn't visible, but the second stories of the stores accross the road are. The one directly accross from Mos Burger was a stone building with words which appeard to be in Itallian carved in large letters. I wondered briefly what they meant, then turned back to playing the parachute game on my ipod.
A couple of minutes later, it occurs to me that the words are in Latin. I happened to know a couple of the phrases. "While I breathe, I hope," and "Love concurs all." "Dum spiro spero" is very fun to say, you should try it some time.
Afterwards, I felt more smug than I had any right to.
My score on this meme was 95/158, but it might be higher, as I was quite unsure of some things and omitted them. Memory is a tricky thing.
(The Echizen path in Teni Gakuen is rather amusing, because Ryoma is the worst date ever. XD Seriously, he starts by being half an hour late, then he falls asleep on you. The way he proposes to take you to the station is by saying that her heard rumors of perverts in the area and expecting you to ask him to accompany you. At the campfire dance, the thing he asks you is "Will you be the tennis club manager?" Then when the girl confesses to him, after a bit of stunned disbelief, he admits that he "doesn't hate her," which, when translated from reluctant teenage boy, means that he likes her "lots and lots and would be somewhat interested in marrying her or something." But then the PC starts crying and makes him actually say that he likes her, which I found somewhat unusual.)
(Edit: It seems like the player character was fake crying to force Echizen to say interesting lines. And now she's just asked Echizen to repeat the "I don't want you to cry" line. (Echizen: Sempai, are you really crying? PC: Sorry, I stopped a while back. Echizen: Sempai...you meanie. XD It's odd, but I'm starting to really love the pc.
Also, their ending date is HIM TAKING HER OUT TO PLAY TENNIS. XDDDD
(Brat. But he won't call her by her name until he's taller than she is, so it's kind of cute.)
I've also realized that I've been using the wrong criteria to choose who to go after next. I should go with whoever's voice is the most fun to listen to. In that logic, I should go after Oshitari, Mizuki, or Jirou. (Mizuki is kind of sleezy, but I'm quite fond of the sound of his voice.)
